Do you know a great community organizer who is ready to Speak Out to end the silence & stigma around HIV?
Greater Than AIDS and the Georgia Department of Public Health are hosting a new Speak Out workshop in Atlanta, Georgia, November 17-20. This is an exciting opportunity for young leaders in the state who have shown a commitment to addressing HIV among racial/ethnic minorities. View the application here.
This workshop will enable attendees to strengthen their understanding of HIV, develop communication strategies to facilitate group conversations, and learn to work in partnership with local health districts to increase engagement among communities most affected by HIV. Applicants must be 18-30 years old and have strong peer networks among young men who have sex with men.
Interested in applying or know someone who would be a great candidate? Applications are due by September 20, 2016.
