Earlier this month, Governor Brian Kemp Announced that state employees would be provided with a day of administrative leave surrounding the Labor Day holiday.

To ensure residents in our ten-county area continue to have access to public health services, clinics will stagger their additional closing day (either Friday, Sept. 3 or Tuesday, Sept.7).

Lowndes and Tift County Health Departments will remain open both days.

COVID PCR testing will still be available at the Lowndes County Health Department on Monday, Sept. 6.
