National Influenza (flu) Vaccination Week is December 8-14 and the Georgia Department of Public Health encourages Georgians to get their flu vaccine.

Fourteen students in the MD Program at the Medical College of Georgia participated in a class study recently investigating public health in south central Georgia.

Local health departments have partnered with Walmart throughout South Health District to have flu clinics in their facilities to ensure community members have easy access to flu vaccinations this year.
